ARISE, shine…a new day is here!

In a dry and weary land, I search for you . . . and find you were searching for me first! After many days of snow and ice, I long for the sun’s heat to melt away my blues. I long for my Lord to warm my heart and break away those icy parts. My painting today is titled, Arise. This Serendipity flower is aglow with the sun’s warmth and the metallic inks reflect the sun’s light. There are days when the Lord seems far away, then the sun breaks through and He is near once more!

I love it! The colors are beautiful and after all that time inside and no sunshine, it is so refreshing and invigorating. I love the green at the bottom too, it adds another dimension to it.
